The Roots: Data Science & The Realization

Back in college at IIIT Dharwad, I was deep in the world of Data Science and Machine Learning. I was fascinated by neural networks, NLP, and all the cutting-edge research happening in that space. But soon, I realized something important: digging for insights and running classification models all day made me feel smart, but it wasn't satisfying. I didn't just want to analyze data; I wanted to build things people could touch.

The Pivot: Finding the "Damn, this is interesting" Moment

That's when I stumbled onto Web Programming. And damn, it was interesting. For the first time, I actually loved what I was learning—how apps are designed, how systems talk to each other, and how they talk to us. I didn't just learn in a silo. I co-started a development club, ran workshops for 150+ students, and started freelancing. I realized that building software wasn't just about code; it was about people.

I took mulitple online courses, while making projects on the side, same time around, I co-started a development club, to gather more like minded people around and build epic stuff. Took it more seriously than I thought I would, and took multiple 3-4 days hands-on workshops in the span of 1 year for around 150+ students. Thus building not only my technical skills, but also my people skills, and to be honest, it just kept getting more and more fun.

The Leverage: Two Weeks to Win

By Feb 2024, my mindset shifted. I became obsessed with leverage. I entered the Apple Swift Student Challenge with zero prior Swift experience. Most people take months to learn a language; I gave myself two weeks. I locked in, built an app from scratch, and won.

That win proved a theory I had: with enough intensity, the learning curve is negotiable.

The Grind: Bangalore & The Bubble

Riding that high, I moved to Bangalore to join **OpeninApp**. I wasn't just an intern; I stepped up as the Lead iOS Developer. I revamped the product entirely and helped scale it to 13,000+ downloads. Late nights became a regular thing, and I loved the ownership.

But while the work was good, I started feeling limited. The "Bangalore Tech Bubble" felt like it was keeping me in an employee mindset, rather than a builder mindset.

The Awakening: Going Global

I flew out to ETHGlobal Singapore and Bangkok, and it was a reality check. Standing in a room full of global talent, I saw how fast the rest of the world was moving with AI and Web3. I realized my job was actually stopping me from growing.

In the age of AI, being in the right circle is everything. I knew I had to leave the comfort zone to find that circle.

The Leap: Navitek Labs

In late 2024, I quit the startup, moved back to Bombay, and bet on myself. I launched Navitek Labs, my own development firm dedicated to helping non-tech founders take their ideas from concept to reality. It was about taking everything I learned—from design to deployment—and building with total freedom.

The Now: The Network School

Which brings us to today. As of early 2026, I'm in Singapore and Malaysia attending **The Network School**. I'm finally in the room I wanted to be in—living and building alongside global founders and VCs. I'm no longer just coding; I'm building internet businesses, exploring the bleeding edge of DeFi and AI, and playing a global game.

In my spare time.

I'm probably in the midst of refining my portfolio, honing my skills through upskilling initiatives, or simply enjoying quality time with friends down at the bowling alley

Other than that, you'll find me playing football, hitting the gym, gaming, reading some fancy rom-com or maybe trying to cook some new dish from the internet.
